Tasks

• Installation and configuration of Oracle DB, WebLogic and OS Linux or Windows Server, incl. high availability
• Installation of JDE tools and JDE app/tools upgrades 
• Administration and work with Oracle DBA, installation of JDE applications/tools and patches
• Installation and configuration of JDE server components
• Setting up load balancing and failover for JDE application and components
• Updating JDE databases
• Installation and configuration of WebLogic servers
• Troubleshooting for production/non-production issues and setting up and installing JDE FAT Clients
• Provision and migration of JDE objects

Previous knowledge and skills

• Completed apprenticeship as an information technician in system technology (EFZ/Federal Certificate of Proficiency)
• Good English and German language skills
• Basic IT skills (server installation, server management, SQL) 
• Interest in and knowledge of Unix and Windows environments 
• Interest in and knowledge of databases and administration
• Interest in and knowledge of SQL
• Ability to work in a 24×7 environment
• Interest in long-term employment
