Without scanners, confirmations of in-house warehouse transactions are posted with a delay. Stock transfers resulting from stock optimization or stocktaking are also not documented in realtime in the ERP system. With the Oracle Value Add-on Solution Scanner Application, you equip the right employees and work stations with scanners that allow you to execute and document all relevant stock transactions in real time.
Requirements and functionality
With the Oracle Value Add-on Solution Scanner Application, you post open warehouse transactions such as stock transfers, goods receipts, goods issues, and real-time production orders directly from where they are executed. Physical inventories can also be recorded via the scanner application and later confirmed by the warehouse manager. All lists and data needed for the annual revision are also included. In addition to the configuration, the implementation also requires the procurement of compatible hardware, Wifi-connection in the field of application as well as the equipment of all relevant documents with readable bar or QR codes.
