The BIC SFTP Connector is developed entirely within the NetSuite platform and does not require additional servers or external tools. It uses NetSuite API Secrets for secure credential storage and operates fully within standard NetSuite functionality. The solution integrates seamlessly into existing workflows, including BIC CSV Capture/Store, enabling end-to-end SFTP data automation.
Upload and download processes are executed in a predictable, secure, and auditable manner, either on a scheduled basis or on demand. After successful transfer, files can be automatically archived or deleted on the SFTP server. At the same time, uploaded documents are archived directly in NetSuite, ensuring clean, traceable data records without duplicate effort.
Instead of relying on fixed file paths, the connector uses Saved Searches as a flexible basis for source or target files. This approach removes dependency on rigid folder structures and allows you to define which files are transferred, when, and how. In combination with BIC CSV Capture/Store, this creates a powerful end-to-end solution for secure, automated data exchange via SFTP.
