About the Add-on

By default, JD Edwards only provides capacity planning on work center and work center group level. A multi-level capacity or multi-site capacity planning is not configurable. With the Oracle Value Add-on solution capacity planning module, holistic capacity planning can be carried out down to the branch level. With our solution, production managers have a consolidated overview of their entire area of responsibility, allowing them to exert effective influence early on.

Requirements and functionality

Realistic capacity planning requires that the relevant master data in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne be updated correctly. The processing options of additional reports of the Oracle Value Add-on solution must be defined during the implementation.

Customer benefits / value added

In order to plan and control a production effectively and efficiently, a clear overview of all influencing factors is required. Capacity planning is a crucial part of production planning. In order to keep processing times as low as possible, production managers must be able to get a clear picture of the situation at all times. With the Oracle Value Add-on solution capacity planning, this is possible right up to the branch plant level for non-limited work center structures at the touch of a button.
